FOUNDATIONS
If you're brand new to CrossFit, you will start with the Foundations Course before beginning the Membership Plan of your choice.
The purpose of the Foundations Course is to ensure that everyone who trains at RRCF develops a solid foundation prior to participating in group training sessions. During this course we will ensure you can demonstrate safety, competency, and efficiency with the fundamental movements that you learn.
We understand that everyone is an individual with varying degrees of fitness, health, and movement proficiency. This program is designed to be inclusive for all so that everyone will benefit no matter how “in-shape” or "out-of-shape” you perceive you are!
In this program you will learn the following:
our training methodology
the general format of our workouts
the importance of movement proficiency in all three planes
the most common and fundamental movements and modes of exercise we utilize
how to thrive in an atmosphere driven by community and competition
Completion of the program is required prior to participating in group classes. If you are experienced in CrossFit or its fundamental movements, your Coach may waive the Foundations requirement. This will be determined during your No Sweat Intro.
The Foundations Course is a total of 5 consecutive half-hour sessions over two weeks.
